Samsung Galaxy S25 series is not due until January 2025. But this isn’t stopping leaks from bringing out newer details about the phone. Particularly, with the Galaxy S25 Ultra, there has been a lot of sound regarding the dimensions of the phone, including how it will measure almost similar to the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Now, tipster Ice Universe in a new leak has revealed the Galaxy S25 Ultra dimensions.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra could be slightly narrower
- The tipster on X claims the Galaxy S25 Ultra would measure 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2mm.
- Initially, the flagship was expected to measure 8.4mm in thickness. This goes on to suggest the S25 Ultra could be slimmer than it was initially believed to be.
- For comparison, the Galaxy S24 Ultra measures 162.3 x 79.0 x 8.6.
- This means the upcoming model is getting slightly taller, narrower (probably because of flat edges?) and slimmer.
- The slimmest big phone from Samsung would still be the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, measuring at just 8.1mm.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: what we know so far
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will come as a successor to the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The handset has appeared on the 3C certification, which confirmed a 4,885mAh battery similar to the predecessor. This could get 45W fast charging support.
The phone is likely to sport a 6.9/6.86-inch display with Dynamic AMOLED panel. it could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy SoC paired with Adreno GPU for graphics. We might see a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP JN1 ultra-wide lang sensor and a 50MP 5x telephoto lens, which is an upgrade from the 12MP ultra-wide sensor and a 3x telephoto shooter on the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
It looks like Samsung is only focusing on design improvements over hardware changes. We only see upgrades specific to cameras, at least from what’s leaked so far.
