According to a report by Android Headlines, in collaboration with OnLeaks, the yet-to-be-launched Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will likely weigh 219 grams and is anticipated to be lighter than the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, which weighs 232 grams.
One of the major design changes that fans can expect is flat edges on all sides. Notably, the predecessor was announced with rounded sides and flat edges on the top and bottom. However, the new renders hint that it will feature flat edges on all the sides. It is worth noting that the new design of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra shares similarities with new iPhones and the recently launched Google Pixel 9 series. Through X (formerly Twitter), a tipster who goes by the username Theonecid, shared a screenshot from an application, which reveals some key details of the Samsung Galaxy S25, including the Exynos 2500 chipset.
The screenshot shows S5E9955 as the chipset’s rumoured model number. It also hints at a 10-core CPU, the Xclipse 950 GPU, a QHD+ screen resolution, and an Android 15 operating system. The tipster hinted that this screenshot means the Galaxy S25 series will be available with an Exynos chipset.
However, a media report highlights the image surfaced references the term “ERD” under the section “system name,” which is presumed to stand for Exynos Reference Design. Notably, a reference design refers to a prototype phone used solely for chip development and testing purposes only.Therefore, the screenshot does not indicate that the Exynos 2500 chipset is on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 series.
