Samsung Galaxy Tab A3 XL coming soon, gets Bluetooth certified

Samsung seems to be working on a new tablet in its Galaxy A-series. A new tablet with the model number SM-T515 was recently spotted on the popular benchmarking website, Geekbench. Now, the same tablet has been spotted on the website of Bluetooth SIG confirming the name of the model.

According to the Bluetooth SIG certification, the Samsung SM-T515 will be called Samsung Galaxy Tab A3 XL. Apart from the name of the device, the certification also reveals that the tablet will come with support for Bluetooth 5.0. However, the new listing doesn’t reveal anything else about the upcoming tablet. Thankfully, past leaks have revealed fair deal about the slated including the processor and software. The Geekbench listing in the past has revealed that the Galaxy Tab A3 XL will come powered by an Exynos 7885 14nm octa-core processor. The processor will be further backed by 2-gigs of RAM. In the software department, the tablet will boot the Android Pie out of the box. Samsung will be offering the slate in two hues – Black and Silver.

Apart from this, the information regarding the upcoming tablets are scarce. It’s being speculated that Samsung might launch the Tab A3 XL at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona later this month. The chaebol is also rumoured to unveil other tablets at the event including SM-T720 / SM-T725 and SM-P200 / SM-P205. The latter two ate expected to be different variants of a new Galaxy A tablet. However, there is no word on the T720 and 725 as of now.
