“The Galaxy Tab A3 XL is expected to be a budget tablet with an Exynos 7885 processor”
Last month, Samsung introduced two new tablets called the Galaxy Tab S5e and Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2019. Now the South Korean tech giant is planning to launch yet another tablet called the Samsung Galaxy Tab A3 XL that bears the model number SM-T515. Ahead of the unveiling, the upcoming slate was recently spotted on Bluetooth SIG’s website as well as the benchmarking app Geekbench. Now, the device has been certified by yet another regulatory authority.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A3 XL (SM-T515) has now received certification from the Federal Communications Commission in the US. Additional model numbers of the tablet include SM-T515N and SM-T517. Unfortunately, the certification hasn’t revealed anything about the features of the slate. However, it does suggest that the company is all set to release the tablet anything in the coming days.
As per the earlier Bluetooth certification, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A3 XL will come with support for Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy standard. According to the Geekbench listing, the slate will be powered by an octa-core 1.59GHz Exynos 7885 processor, and will come with 2GB of RAM. Software-wise, the device will boot the latest Android 9 Pie operating system out of the box. On the benchmarking app, the tablet scored 1,277 points in the single-core test and 4,031 points in the multi-core test.
According to an earlier report, SamMobile had claimed that the Galaxy Tab A3 XL will be available in black and silver colour variants at the launch. Alongside the Galaxy Tab A3 XL, the company could unveil a couple of other slates as well.
