Speculations are rife that it may debut in July. Now, ahead of the announcement, renders of the Galaxy Watch 3 45mm model have surfaced online, courtesy of noted tipster Evan Blass. These show off the design of the smartwatch completely. The Galaxy Watch 3 has a stainless steel casing but it doesn’t confirm whether it will have a rotating bezel. The strap seems to be made out of leather, and it doesn’t look like they are replaceable.
According to leaked specifications, the Galaxy Watch 3 45mm model will have a 1.4-inch screen with Gorilla Glass DX, while the smaller 41mm is said to sport a 1.2-inch screen. Both the models are tipped to come with 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, and IP68 rating for water-resistance. The 45mm will have a 340mAh battery capacity, while a 247mAh unit fuels the 41mm. The smartwatch will be available in Wi-Fi only and LTE variants and has GPS support. It is said to boot Tizen OS 5.5 and is has MIL-STD 810G military-grade certification for durability. Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is tipped to measure 45 x 46.2 x 11.1 mm and 41 x 42.5 x 11.3 mm, respectively.
