This will succeed the Galaxy Watch 7 lineup from last year and could debut alongside the new foldables– the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7. Besides the Classic model, there could be a vanilla Galaxy Watch 8. Here are the details.

- The listing only confirms the marketing name, and no hardware details are mentioned. The company name is Samsung Electronics Co., LTD.
While not much else is known about the smart wearable at the moment, it is reported that the SM-L505 (Bluetooth SIG) and SM-L500 model numbers belong to the Watch 8 Classic. Meanwhile, the regular variant bears the model numbers: SM-L320, SM-L325U, SM-L330, and SM-L335U belong to the Galaxy Watch 8.
Samsung appears to be bringing the ‘Classic’ branding for its smartwatches after the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, which debuted in 2023 at Rs 36,999 (before any discounts). The Galaxy Watch 7 was launched at Rs 29,999.
As said, the new Samsung wearable is expected to debut alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 foldables, which are expected to launch at the Galaxy Unpacked event in New York on July 4th. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 debuted on July 10th in Paris.
The company might also tease the Galaxy G Fold, which is the brand’s first tri-folding phone that will look to take on the Huawei Mate XT trifoldable and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip SE. We should learn more details in the days to come.
