The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra is expected to be announced at the Galaxy Unpacked 2024, expected to take place on July 10th. However, ahead of that, the colour options of the new Ultra variant have appeared online. Notably, several details, including its rumoured price and features, were tipped recently. Here are the expected details of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra colour options tipped
Via X (formerly Twitter), tipster Tim Tom O posted pictures of the upcoming Galaxy Watch Ultra, which hints that it will be available in White and Dark Grey colours.

The renders show that the Galaxy Watch Ultra, which will compete with the Apple Watch Ultra 2, boasts a square case with a circular screen. The left edge of the case flaunts an Orange coloured button, which is likely the rotating crown or Quick Button.
It is worth noting that the company is launching a smartwatch in a squarish design for the second time. Initially, the company incorporated the square design in the Samsung Galaxy Gear 2, which was announced in 2014.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra price, features (expected)
The upcoming Galaxy Watch Ultra is touted as a flagship smartwatch, and recent reports suggest that its 47mm variant will be launched between USD 699, around Rs 58,400, to USD 710, approximately Rs 59,300. This is comparatively lesser than the price of the Apple Watch Ultra 2, as Apple’s flagship watch comes for USD 799 in the US and Rs 89,900 in India.
Expected features
- Though not confirmed, the Galaxy Watch Ultra might boast a Titanium (Grade 4) chassis compared to the better aerospace-grade Titanium chassis, which is often cited as Grade 5, on the Apple Watch Ultra 2.
- The flagship smartwatch is anticipated to feature a sapphire crystal glass display and is touted to support up to 3,00nits peak brightness, similar to the peak brightness seen on the Watch Ultra 2.
- The Galaxy Watch Ultra might be water resistant up to 100 meters and dustproof, just like the Watch Ultra 2.
- Furthermore, the smartwatch will likely feature a Quick Button for easy navigation, similar to the Action Button in the Apple Watch Ultra models, and is expected to come in cellular and Bluetooth-only variants.
