Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 to get tiny battery upgrade, FCC listing reveals

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 launch is expected to take place in July at the next Unpacked event. The Galaxy Ring is also said to debut at the same event. We should also see more products including the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Watch 7 series, and Galaxy Buds 3. There have been several leaks leading up to the launch, and now we have access to what could be official battery details of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Ring.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Ring battery details revealed

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 5G and Galaxy Ring were spotted on the US FCC certification site, PSI Testing and Certification LTD website. These certifications reveal the foldable and its batteries’ model numbers and capacity as well.
According to these listings, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will feature a 2,790mAh and 1,097mAh battery. This would be a total capacity of 3,887mAh which will most likely be marketed as 4,000mAh.
In comparison to the Galaxy Z Flip 5, this would be a slight upgrade over the 3,700mAh battery. Although minor, it’s still an upgrade and should result in a longer battery life for the new foldable.

The FCC listing also reveals the battery capacity for the Galaxy Ring, which will vary according to the size. Samsung’s smart ring is said to come in sizes 5 to 12. Galaxy Ring in 5, 6, and 7 will have a 17mAh battery, while sizes 8, 9, 10, and 11 will feature a slightly bigger 18.5mAh battery. Galaxy Ring in size 12 will have the biggest battery, which will be a 22.5mAh cell. So good news for those with large fingers who are planning to get the Galaxy Ring.
