Samsung has launched new Smart TVs in India today, which will only be available for purchase online. The company has launched The Frame, a high-end lifestyle TV that can also act as an art installation in the living room. Then there’s the Smart 7-in-1, which has been made for the budget orientated. The Smart 7-in-1 TVs are available in 32-inch and 40-inch variants, whereas The Frame comes with a 55-inch panel.
Samsung The Frame and Smart 7-in-1 price in India
Samsung’s The Frame price in India is Rs 1,19,999 and it will be sold only on Flipkart and the official Samsung online store. Interested folks can avail No Cost EMI, starting at Rs 4,999. Samsung will start selling the TV online on August 12th.
On the other hand, the Smart 7-in-1 TVs are affordable models. The 32-inch Smart 7-in-1 TV is priced at Rs 22,500, whereas the 40-inch model will cost you Rs 33,900. These TVs will also be available online only and launch in the fourth week of August.
Samsung The Frame TV features
The Frame TV from Samsung features a 55-inch 4K resolution QLED panel. It promises 100 percent colour volume and uses the Quantum Dot technology that supports HDR10+ content. It features an Art Mode feature, which transforms the display into a picture frame that can show photos and artwork.
It comes with several sensors to know if a person is nearby and turns on the TV to display artwork. When no-one is around, the TV will switch off to save energy. It also comes with a brightness sensor and supports Voice assistants such as Google Assistant or Bixby. The TV comes with built-in AirPlay 2 and other internet apps. You can also add a custom frame to the TV.
Samsung Smart 7-in-1 TV features
The Smart 7-in-1 TVs can be used as a personal computer via Internet. It offers Live Cast and Screen Mirroring features. The TVs also come with a content guide, which can recommend movies and shows to the user. It comes with apps such as Prime Video, Netflix, and Zee5, which offer content in more than 10 local languages. Samsung’s Smart 7-in-1 TVs offer HD resolution.
