  • Developers will get the new One UI update this year.

Let’s also find out why there is a delay in the One UI 7 release as stable One UI 6 (based on Android 14) rolled out in November 2023.

One UI 7 release date: stable and beta

At SDC 2024, Samsung disclosed the One UI 7 stable version will be “released next year with the new Galaxy“. So, in 2025 with the Galaxy S25 series launch.

Why the One UI 7 delay? New features?

Although Samsung hasn’t explicitly disclosed the reason, it said at SDC that it is working to “seamlessly integrate Galaxy AI features into daily activities“.

Meanwhile, a moderator on Samsung’s Korean community revealed last month to a user that “many discussions are still ongoing due to new features, thus causing the delay“.

Samsung only touched upon the One UI 7 topic at SDC. Besides the dates, it revealed that One UI 7 will have a “simple, impactful and emotive design alongside more ways to seamlessly integrate Galaxy AI features into daily activities”.

The company also said that it will “integrate the software experience of its major product lines — from mobile devices to TVs and home appliances — under the name One UI next year”.
