Samsung SM-T860 and SM-T865 high-end tablets reportedly in the works

“Samsung SM-T860 and SM-T865 are reportedly the model numbers of high-end Android tablets that the company is working on”

Samsung seems to be silently working on two high-end Android-powered tablets as the model numbers SM-T860 and SM-T865 surfaced online, as spotted by GalaxyClub. Historically, Samsung premium tablet devices in the Tab S series had SM-T8xx model numbers. It is speculated that these might belong to the unannounced Galaxy Tab S5 given that Samsung already announced the Galaxy Tab S5e. Unfortunately, no other details about the tablet are available at the moment.

Though Samsung has launched a handful of mid-range and budget tablets until now, a true flagship grade tablet for the year is still awaited. We’d like to believe SM-T860 and SM-T865 tablets might fill the void. It is possible that Samsung might give the upcoming premium tablet a complete makeover in terms of design and it could be launched alongside the Galaxy Note 10 sometime later this year. At this point, everything is just a speculation and we suggest you take this with a pinch of salt.

To recall, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e packs in four AKG-branded speakers, placed on the four corners. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with the latest One UI coupled with 4GB or 6GB of RAM, and 64GB or 128GB of native storage. A 7,040mAh battery fuels the tablet. In terms of optics, the tablet features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera for video chats. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac MIMO, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5, GPS, GLONASS, USB 3.1 Type-C, and POGO pin.
