  • The OneUI update is still based on Tinzen 8.0 OS but has been renamed under OneUI. According to the changelog shared by the publication, the One UI update brings a fresh look and several new features to Samsung’s smart TVs.
  • The home screen now has three new tabs—”For You,” “Live,” and “Apps”—making it easier to access your favorite content. There’s also a new “Watch Later” feature that allows you to save TV shows and movies for future viewing.
  • The update allows users to use other Samsung devices connected to the same Samsung account as a keyboard and mouse for their TV. It also syncs with the Galaxy Watch to display real-time workout metrics directly on the TV.
  • There are a bunch of new changes, which include a redesigned game bar, a new Daily Board with wallpapers and widgets, better search functionality, and updated icons for apps like Bixby, Gallery, Samsung Internet, and SmartThings to align with One UI on Samsung phones.
  • Samsung has also said its smart TVs will get operating system updates for seven years.
