Samsung is all set to launch its Samsung Galaxy S23 series, comprising the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra today in San Francisco at 10 AM PT/ 11.30 PM IST. Ahead of that, the South Korean company has introduced an exclusive ringtone for its the series, titled “Over The Horizon.”
The ringtone has been especially created by an American electronic music artist DJ Yaeji, who is of Korean descent. As per Samsung, the idea behind is to celebrate and honour “positivity and optimism in an evolving world”. You can listen to it right here:
Samsung keeps redefining its “Over The Horizon” theme each time a new Galaxy S series is introduced while keeping its key sound based on the new trending sounds. Users can easily recognise Yaeji’s sound on the electronic dance scene accompanied by distinctive synths, “lo-fi hip-hop beats to relax/study to” vibes, and kicks. Yaeji gained popularity with the launch of her tune “Raingurl” in the year 2017 and now her collaboration for the Galaxy S23 series brings her again in the limelight.
The official press release mentioned that this ringtone which has been developed using a fusion of electronic elements, “evokes the universal feelings of hope and joy, inviting us to imagine and be optimistic about what’s on the other side of the horizon”
Samsung Galaxy S23 series specifications, signature colours, India price, and cases have already surfaced on the internet ahead of its launch and the phones are expected to be powered by an overclocked version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
