Samsung India has launched its new range of TVs that include The Fame 2020 and 10 new smart TV models. The Frame 2020 is the company’s flagship model that features a QLED technology that is claimed to offer exceptional contrasts and 100 percent volume. The Art Mode turns the TV into a picture frame that can surface over 1,200 digital art from around the world. It automatically adjusts the screen brightness based on the ambient light in the room, using the built-in motion and brightness sensors. The 4K UHD TVs feature segment-first thee-side boundless design and a 4K Processor that is claimed to deliver sharper and crisper images.

In addition to The Frame 2020, Samsung has also launched 10 new smart TVs that range from entry-level to premium segments. Samsung says the new edition of The Frame 2020 and the advanced online smart TVs are designed for millennials and consumers of online content. These come with auto hotspot technology, USB 3.0 and support for voice assistants such as Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa apart from Bixby. The TVs are equipped with Game Enhancer for lag-free gaming, Content Guide for curated content, personal computer mode, home cloud and music player and more. Samsung is also bundling free subscription to Office 365 and 5GB cloud storage space.

The personal computer mode allows users to turn their TVs into a full-fledged PC. The TVs are secured with Knox and have support for popular OTT apps such as Zee5, Voot, Netflix, Prime Video, SonyLiv and more. Users purchasing the TVs can avail a 50 percent discount on Zee5 and Eros Now subscriptions, free Gaana Plus for one-year and Apple Music for 3 months. Consumers purchasing The Frame 2020 are entitled to free three-month subscription to the Samsung Art Store worth Rs 897.

Price and Availability

The Samsung Frame 2020 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch models are priced at Rs 74,990, Rs 84,990, Rs 1,39,990, respectively. It will be available through Flipkart, Amazon and Samsung online store. The TV will come with 10-year no screen burn-in warranty, and one-year comprehensive warranty and one-year additional warranty on the panel. Samsung’s 4K UHD Smart TV models start at Rs 36,990 for the 43-inch version and go all the way up to Rs 89,990 for the 65-inch version. The full HD and HD Ready Smart TV models will start from Rs 14,490 for the 32-inch model and go up to Rs 31,990 for the 43-inch model.

All the pre-paid orders in the first 48 hours of the sale on Flipkart through credit cards and debit cards get Rs 1,500 instant cashback. Consumers purchasing through Amazon get instant cashback up to Rs 1,000 on pre-paid transactions through their SBI credit cards. Samsung is also offering no-cost EMI for up to 24 months.
