“The Samsung U Flex can bend up to 100 degrees and is splash-resistant”
Samsung has announced a new pair of headphones called the U Flex. True to its name, the device comes with a flexible neckband, which can be bent up to 100 degrees.
However, the mainstay of the headphones has to be the dedicated Active button, which can be mapped either to Samsung S-Voice or Bixby. The Active button can also be used to access other functions like Clock, Timer, Samsung Health and Favorites. These advanced settings of the headphones can be accessed and adjusted using the accompanying app called Samsung Level, which needs to be installed on a paired Android smartphone. Coming to audiophile perspective, the U Flex flaunts two-way speakers with 11mm woofers and 8mm tweeters. It also features Samsung’s Scalable Codec technology which filters out Wi-Fi signals for better Bluetooth connectivity.
Moving on to the build quality, the headphones feature P2i nano coating technology that protects the device from accidental splashes. The U Flex also comes with a vibration notification feature. Furthermore, on a single charge, the pair can deliver a playback time of 10 hours. Pricing and availability of the headphones haven’t been announced as yet.
