Sennheiser Memory Mic wireless microphone launched in India, priced at Rs 18,900

“Sennheiser Memory Mic wireless microphone can be connected to any smartphone and works at any distance”

Sennheiser has launched the Memory Mic wireless microphone in India, aimed at content creators. Compatible with Android and iOS, the device can be paired using the Sennheiser Memory Mic App, which allows users to set the sensitivity of the microphone at three levels. By altering its sensitivity, the microphone will adapt to your speaking style.

The portable microphone is lightweight, claimed to offer excellent sound, and works at any distance from the smartphone. When recording with the Memory Mic, the smartphone’s in-built microphone will also be active and picks up the ambient sound. This lets the user select the optimum balance between ambience and the audio captured with the Memory Mic.

Vipin Pungalia, Director, Professional Segment, Sennheiser India at the launch said, “The wireless microphone is extremely convenient to use, lightweight and offers a fantastic combination of audio quality, price and mobility. With over a 70-year history that has been built on the culture of innovation and a vision to shape the future of the audio industry, we believe the Memory Mic demonstrates our commitment to offer quality audio experience to everyone. With smartphones increasingly becoming the epicentre of content creation and consumption, a product like Memory Mic will become indispensable to the overall audio experience.”

The new Memory Mic features a high-quality condenser capsule with omni-directional pick-up pattern, hence making it resistant to wind noise. The Sennheiser Memory Mic also offers an audio mixer in the app, and it allows you to set any desired balance between ambient sound and the audio captured. The microphone can be paired with iPhones with a HANDMIC Digital or the ClipMic digital and can be paired with AMBEO Smart Headset for spatial 3D audio recordings as well.

The Sennheiser Memory Mic wireless lasts up to four hours on a single charge and can be charged via the USB port. The company claims that it can charge up to 70 percent in an hour. The Sennheiser Memory Mic will be available offline as well as Sennheiser’s web store in India, priced at Rs 18,900.
