Simple Energy, a Bengaluru-based EV company, has announced an upgrade of its flagship e-scooter, Simple One. The EV now comes with a new battery pack option that promises over 300km range and 72 Nm torque. The company claims to provide improved performance, thermal management, and power efficiency with the Simple One. Earlier in January, the company announced the Simple One and its pre-booking and delivery schedules. One can pre-book the Simple One electric scooter at Rs 1,947 via Simple Energy’s official website. Simple One offers over 300km range with new battery pack
The additional battery pack has a 1.6 kWh capacity. The company claims that the battery pack will allow the Simple One to travel over 300km. The scooter has a range of nearly 235km without the additional battery pack. The additional battery can be stored in the scooter’s boot. Simple One comes with an 8.5 kW motor, capable of producing 72Nm torque. It has a 30L boot storage. Simple One features onboard navigation, riding modes, phone app, call and music control, and much more.

Simple One with an improved additional battery pack is priced at Rs 1.44 lakhs(ex-showroom). The traditional non-additional battery variant will be available for Rs 1.09 lakh(ex-showroom). The user can book the Simple One EV by heading to Simple Energy’s official website at Rs 1,947 pre-booking fees. In this price segment, Simple One competes against Ola Electric’s Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro, Ather Energy’s 450x, Bajaj Chetak, TVS i-Qube, and the Bounce Infinity E1.
The Simple One comes in Brazen Black, Namma Red, Azure Blue, and Grace White colour options. Previously, Simple Energy has announced that deliveries of their flagship electric scooter, Simple One, will begin in June 2022.
