Smartphones launching in May 2025 (monthly poll): OnePlus 13s, Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, Realme GT 7 and more

April saw a host of mid-range smartphones launch in India and globally.The month of May is likely to witness some-awaited smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, and the OnePlus 13s. Realme and POCO are also expected to launch new smartphones this month.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge

Launch date: The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to launch globally, including in India, on May 13th.

Price: It is expected to be priced at 1,500,000 KRW (Rs 90,455 approximately).

OnePlus 13s

Launch date: OnePlus 13s has been officially teased in India but the launch date hasn’t been revealed. 

Price: The OnePlus 13s is expected to be priced between Rs 54,990 and Rs 55,000 in India.

Realme GT 7

Launch date: Realme GT 7 is confirmed to launch in India soon. The exact launch date hasn’t been revealed. 

Price: Realme GT 7 could be priced around Rs 40,999.

Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 9300+.

Storage: 12GB RAM,512GB storage.

Cameras: 50MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens; 16MP front camera.

Software: realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15.

POCO F7 and POCO F7 Ultra

Launch date: POCO F7 Ultra and POCO F7 are expected to arrive in India this month.

Price: The POCO F7 is expected to be priced around Rs 29,999. There is no word on the expected pricing of the POCO F7 Ultra in India yet.

Software: Android 15 with HyperOS 2.

OnePlus Nord CE 5

Launch date: The OnePlus CE 5 was recently spotted on the BIS, which indicates an imminent launch. 

Price: The OnePlus Nord CE 5 is tipped to cost the same as the OnePlus Nord CE 4 (review), which arrived in India at a starting price of Rs 24,999.

Samsung Galaxy F56

Launch date: A support page for the Samsung Galaxy F56 went live on Samsung India’s site back in March this year. The company is tipped to launch this device in India in May 2025.

Price: The Samsung Galaxy F56 could be priced between Rs 25,000 and Rs 27,000.
