Sony has introduced three new TVs, namely the Sony Bravia 8 II (pronounced mark 2), Bravia 5, and Bravia 2 II. So, it isn’t refreshing the entire TV lineup for 2025, instead adding these three to the 2024 roster. Coming to the new TVs, the Sony Bravia 8 II is its flagship QD-OLED model, Sony Bravia 5 will be its midrange Mini LED offering, and Sony Bravia 2 II will be an affordable LED TV. Check out their complete specs below:

Sony Bravia 8 II specifications

  • Sony Bravia 8 II is a successor to last year’s Sony Bravia A95L. The latter’s 77-inch model will still be available.
  • Sony Braiva 8 II, meanwhile, has the model numbers K-55XR80M2 and K-65XR80M2, and will be available in 55-inch and 65-inch models.
  • On the front, it has a 4K 120Hz QD-OLED Dolby Vision panel powered by Sony’s XR picture processor and associated enhancement features. Sony boasts this TV is 25 percent brighter than the peak brightness of the A95L and 50 percent brighter than the Sony Bravia 8.
  • For sound, you get a built-in 2.2ch speaker, Dolby Atmos, DTS: X, S-Force Front Surround (simulated) and Acoustic Surface Audio+ suite of sound technologies from Sony.
  • On the connectivity front, you get 4 HDMI 2.1 (with ARC and eARC), Chromecast, Wi-Fi 6E, Bravia Sync (CEC), Bluetooth 5.3, and 2 USB ports.
