Sony launches new home theatre and soundbar systems, prices start at Rs 18,990

“The new home theatres feature a soundbar like-like design and come with Bluetooth and NFC music playback capabilities.”

Sony has launched the HT-RT5 and HT-RT3 home theatres, accompanied by the HT-CT790 and HT-CT390 soundbars in India. The company has opted for a soundbar-like design for the home theatres as well.

Sony HT-RT3

The HT-RT3 home theatre delivers 600W of power through multi-angled and rear speakers. The combination of an external subwoofer, channel soundbar and two rear speakers ensure that users get a rich 5.1 channel audio experience. The brand has equipped the HT-RT3 with a USB port, one HDMI-out port and the ability to sync seamlessly with BRAVIA TVs. To make the set-up hassle free, the device comes with few colour coded cables, along with the ability to play music via Bluetooth or NFC. Users can even browse the list of music in their pen drives, using the Songpal app on their iOS or Android devices. The HT-RT5 gets all these features in a completely wireless setup. In addition to this, the device has a power output of 550W and comes with a USB port, three HDMI-in ports and one HDMI-out port.
