Sony Xperia 20 renders and 360-degree video reveal dual rear cameras and a familiar design

Sony at the MWC 2019 event introduced the Xperia 1 flagship and the Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus mid-range phones. Even before these phones go on sale globally, the brand seems to be working on their successors already. Hours after the renders of Sony Xperia 2 made their way to the Internet, we have a look at what the Sony Xperia 20 could look like. Going by the renders, Sony seems to have adopted a similar design as the Xperia 10 with the same tall 21:9 aspect ratio. There is a very thin chin at the bottom and the bezels are pretty narrow, while the thick bezel on top includes the selfie snapper, earpiece, and other sensors. On the rear, a horizontally stacked dual camera module is placed horizontally, along with the dual LED flash and Sony logo.

The fingerprint sensor is placed on the right side, embedded in the power button; the volume rocker is also present on the same edge. The 3.5mm headphone jack as well as the secondary microphone for noise cancellation are present on the top. At the bottom is the USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing and a single speaker grill.

The Xperia 20 reportedly differs from the Xperia 10 in terms of build quality. While the latter packs an all-metal unibody design, the former is said to arrive with a metal body and glass or plastic back. As for the specifications, the report claims the handset will have a 6-inch display, much like the Xperia 10, and would measure roughly 157.8 x 68.9 x 8.14mm (9.84mm including the rear camera bump). It is likely to be powered by a mid-range Snapdragon 6xx or 7xx series chipset and might boot Android Q out of the box.
