Sony Xperia L3’s leaked renders and 360-degree video reveal bezel-less display and dual rear cameras

“The Xperia L3 seems to have similar design aesthetics as the Xperia XA3 that was also leaked yesterday”

Yesterday, we witnessed CAD renders of the mid-range Sony Xperia XA3 for the first time, and now, similar footage of the Xperia L3 has leaked. The renders and 360-degree video are posted by Pricebaba in partnership with Onleaks. The Xperia L3 will be the successor of the Xperia L2 that was launched in January this year at CES.

Sony Xperia L3 5k renders

Looking at these high-res renders, we can confirm that the Xperia L3 looks uncannily similar to the Xperia XA3 apart from minute differences. For example, the top and bottom bezels are a bit thicker. You also get to see the same rectangular slab design which has pretty much remained unchanged for generations. However, the corners are more rounded this time around to provide a more comfortable in-hand feel. As for the chassis material, it could be polycarbonate.

The source states that the Sony Xperia L3 will have a 5.7-inch HD+ display which is a very minor bump up from the 5.5-inch HD panel on the Xperia L2. You can also see a dual-camera setup which was not present on the predecessor, although the exact specs of the shooters isn’t known yet.

Besides these main aspects, you also get a USB-Type C port at the bottom, and a 3.5mm headphone socket on the top. Similar to the Xperia XA3, there’s also the power button, volume rocker and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the right spine. That’s pretty much all we know about the Xperia L3 so far.

Judging from Sony’s previous launch timeframe, the Xperia L3 could show up at the CES 2019 in January.
