How to check Tamil Nadu class 12th results online

  • Open your browser and visit https://tnresults.nic.in/ or http://dge.tn.gov.in/
  • Choose ‘Results’/ ‘download’ result link, after Tamil Nadu declares the result of class 12th
  • Enter the registration number/ roll number
  • The result will appear on the screen
  • Download it to save the result locally on your device, and take a print out for further reference.

As stated above, this year the Tamil Nadu Class 12th results have been formulated using alternative assessment criteria. As per which, 50 percent marks will be derived from the student’s Class 10th board exam (average of three subjects with high marks), 20 percent (in each subject) from Class 11 board exam, and the remaining 30 percent from Class 12 practicals and internal assessments. Those who have failed in class 11th in Tamil Nadu will be awarded 35 percent marks.
