TECNO Camon iAir 2+ and Camon i2 launched in India for Rs 8,999 and Rs 10,499 respectively

Apart from introducing the Camon i2X (first impressions), TECNO has also launched two more smartphones in the Indian market today. Dubbed the TECNO iAir 2+ and Camon i2, the brand’s latest offerings are budget handsets with minimal bezels on the sides, a slim chin, and a notch above the screen. Both of the devices are also equipped with dual primary cameras at the rear, apart from a fingerprint scanner for security.

Talking about the TECNO Camon iAir 2+ first, the smartphone offers a 6.2-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The phone is powered by a 2.0GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6761 processor, aided by 2GB of RAM. The storage capacity on board is 32GB, which can be further increased up to 128GB by inserting a microSD card. Software-wise, the handset boots HiOS based on Android 8.1 Oreo, and comes with face unlock functionality.

In the optics department, the TECNO Camon iAir 2+ sports a 13-megapixel primary shooter at the rear with f/1.8 aperture and a quad-LED flash, aided by a 2-megapixel secondary snapper. For selfies, there’s an 8-megapixel camera on board with a dedicated LED flash unit. In terms of connectivity, you get 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. A 3,750mAh battery completes the list of the specs.

Moving on to the TECNO Camon i2, the handset offers 3GB of RAM and a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and an LED flash. The rest of the features of the smartphone are the same as the TECNO Camon iAir2+. Notably, both the handsets are being offered in three colour variants – Champagne Gold, Midnight Black, and Aqua Blue.

Talking about the pricing, the TECNO Camon iAir 2+ has been priced at Rs 8,999, while the Camon i2 will be available for Rs 10,499. They are available via major brick and mortar stores the country starting today.
