Tecno Phantom X phone was unveiled in African markets back in June 2021. It is the company’s first upper mid segment offering, shipping with an AMOLED display, 50MP primary camera, a telephoto lens and 33W fast charging support. Now, according to a report from PassionateGeekz, the Phantom X will launch in India sometime in April. The phone will reportedly arrive in Starry Night Blue and Summer Sunset colours.

Tecno Phantom X RAM/storage

Tecno Phantom X global variant comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. There are chances it might come with the same configuration in India. However, to keep the price in check, it may also come in 8GB+128GB or lower variants in the country.

Tecno Phantom X comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with curved edges, pill-shaped punch-hole cutout, 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 12nm processor paired with a 900MHz Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C.

The Tecno Phantom X packs 8GB LPPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 2.1 storage. It runs on Android 11 based HiOS custom skin out of the box. There is an in-screen fingerprint sensor for security and a 4,700mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It measures 163.5×73.78×8.72mm.

The Phantom X has triple cameras on the back, comprising a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.85 aperture and quad LED flash, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 13MP 50mm portrait camera. There is a 48MP primary snapper and an 8MP ultra-wide lens for selfies and video chats.
