Tecno India has hosted a Flipkart microsite for the Tecno Pova 7 5G series. Like the Pova 6 lineup, we expect multiple models. Last time, only the Pova 6 Neo was launched in India. But this time, certifications suggest both the Tecno Pova 7 and Pova 7 Pro could arrive. So far, Tecno has revealed only the rear camera design, likely shared by both phones. If you’re considering a midrange phone, here’s what you can expect from these Tecno phones.
Tecno Pova 7 5G series Flipkart microsite
- ‘Tecno Pova 7 series coming soon’, reads the microsite.
- We can see a silhouette of a rounded, triangle-shaped rear camera island. There appear to be three lenses. But, we aren’t sure if there are three cameras or some of them are placeholders.
Tecno Pova 7, Pova 7 Pro: what else we know
- Tecno Pova 7 with model number LJ7 and Pova 7 Pro 5G with LJ8 have been spotted by The TechOutLook on India’s BIS certification listing, which approves the device to be sold in our market.
- The TechOutLook has also spotted the above two models on the Google Play Console database, which certifies the support of Google Play Services for these phones. Similarly, their appearance on Russia’s EEC and the US’s FCC databases suggests an impending global release.
- As per the leaked Geekbench listing spotted by the same publication, Tecno Pova 7 5G has a single-core score of 934 points, a multi-core score of 2,582 points, Android 15, a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC with a 2.50GHz top clock speed, and 8GB RAM. The Pova 7 Pro 5G, on the other hand, has a 1,055 single-core score, a 3,087 multi-core score, Android 15, and the same Dimensity 7300 chipset. There could be other memory options on both models.
- The Pova 7’s FCC listing disclosed a 6000mAh battery size and 45W fast charging support. The standard and Pro models could sport FHD+ screens.
- Compared to the Pova 6 series, these newcomers seem to have much powerful 4nm chips, and the standard model could also have a bigger battery. Though the 45W charging seems to be a downgrade from the 70W charging speed on the Pova 6.
- So, based on these and other online appearances, the POCO F7 series is expected to feature the following models: Pova 7 4G, Pova 7 Neo, Pova 7 5G, Pova 7 Pro 5G, Pova 7 Pro+ 5G, and Pova 7 Ultra 5G. Only time will tell which of these will launch in India or globally.
