A month after the launch of the Joy Mihos electric scooter at the Delhi Auto Expo 2023, Joy E-Bike claims to have acquired 18,600 bookings in just 15 days. The EV company started taking bookings for the high-speed electric scooter on January 22nd.
The Joy Mihos electric scooter features retro-modern styling and uses an NMC battery with a claimed range of 130km. The electric scooter caters to the premium electric two-wheeler segment in India.
Joy Mihos electric scooter price in India
The Joy Mihos electric scooter was launched at a price of Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The EV is available in Metallic Blue, Solid Black Glossy, Solid Yellow Glossy and Pearl White colour options. The company expects to start deliveries of the Joy Mihos electric scooter to its existing customers from March 2023 onwards in a phase-wise manner.

The electric scooter has a retro-modern design and has been built using a Poly Dicyclopentadiene (PDCPD) material that the company claims to be highly durable. The EV is underpinned by a 74V40Ah Li-ion battery with Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) battery pack with a rated energy capacity of 2.5kWh. This is paired with an electric motor that is capable of going from a standstill to 40kmph in under 7 seconds and delivers a claimed range of 130km on a single charge. The battery can be charged within 5 to 5.5 hours via a supplied wall charger.
The electric scooter gets features such as a 4.3″ colour TFT Display, CBS with front disc brakes, telescopic front suspension, GPS-enabled connected vehicle features, LED lighting, etc. The company has also developed a companion app called Joy E – connect which enables multiple connected vehicle features on the Mihos electric scooter. The Mihos electric scooter also gets a pair of 90-section 12-inch wheels and 175mm of ground clearance.
