Thomson says its new smart TVs will compete against the OnePlus TV Y series and U series

Thomson Oath Pro series of 4K Android TVs were launched in India this week. The latest series from Thomson includes three models – 43-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch – all of which come with 4K resolution. The company says its new smart TVs will compete against the new OnePlus TV Y series and U series in the country. The Thomson Oath Pro series will be available on Flipkart starting tomorrow i.e July 5th.

Thomson Oath Pro series prices in India

The Thomson Oath Pro 43-inch 4K TV price in India is Rs 24,999, while the 55-inch and 65-inch models are priced at Rs 32,999 and Rs 52,999, respectively. The Oath Pro series will go on sale on Flipkart from Sunday, July 5th. 

Thomson Oath Pro series specifications

The Thomson Oath Pro series aims to deliver premium-looking TVs with a bezel-less screen and minimalistic design. All three models come with Ultra HD (3849×2160) resolution and features like Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation (MEMC), Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Vision, HDR10, and Bluetooth 5.0. The TVs run on Android 9.0 software and come with Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube pre-loaded. The remote also comes with hotkeys for these OTT platforms.

The Thomson Oath Pro series of smart TVs also come with Google Assistant and are powered by MediaTek quad-core processors. The TVs include 30W bottom-firing speakers with Dolby Audio support. Thomson says the new TVs are design in Paris and made in India.
