Thomson QLED TVs with Linux OS launched in India: prices, specifications

Thomson has launched a range of new QLED Linux (Coolita 3.0) OS TVs and Air Coolers in India. The TV lineup includes the world’s first 24-inch smart TV. The company says the new TVs come with a sleek design, VA display panels and up to 36W sound output. They also come with support for popular OTT apps and multiple connectivity ports. The Thomson QLED TVs prices in India start at Rs 6,799.
Meanwhile, the Air coolers are priced between Rs 5,699 and Rs 8,999 in India. These will be available via Flipkart.

Thomson QLED TVs features, specifications

Thomson’s new range of QLED TVs will be available in 24-, 32-, and 40-inch screen sizes. The company notes that these feature VA panels and support up to 1.1 billion colours.
The TVs come with Linux Coolita 3.0 OS and come with pre-installed games. There’s support for popular OTT apps like JioHotstar, YouTube, Prime Video, Sony Liv, and Zee5.
The TVs come with live channels, network-free screen mirroring, support for voice search, and Wi-Fi with Miracast support.
The 24-inch model comes with 24W sound output, while the 32-inch and 40-inch offer 36W output. We get bottom-firing speakers with surround sound.
Ports on board include coaxial, HMDI and USB ports.
The Thomson QLED TVs ship with an A35*4 processor with a clock speed of 2.4GHz.

As for the Thomson air coolers, they come in 40, 55, 60, 75, and 95 litre models and are placed in the personal and dessert category. There are also personal smart air coolers with remote control technology in 60-litre capacity. This allows for adjusting fan speed and swing settings from anywhere in the room. You can also set a timer for automatic shut-off.
