Timex Group’s Helix brand has launched the Gusto fitness band in India. It comes in two variants, the standard Helix Gusto and the Helix Gusto HRM. The fitness band is claimed to offer battery life of up to 15 days and pack a lightweight design. It supports smartphone notifications, including social media updates and alerts. The Helix Gusto is waterproof, supports an array of outdoor activities and breaks down the sleep into stages to better understand the sleep cycle. As a fitness band, it can keep tabs on calories burnt, distance and number of steps covered.
The Helix Gusto fitness band sports a 0.42-inch OLED display and is compatible with Android and iOS. On the other hand, the HRM edition packs heart rate monitor, flaunts a larger 0.96-inch coloured display, camera control, phone finder, incoming call reminder and call disconnect features. These also offer a user-friendly interface, and the companion app presents users data and motivates them to push to workouts. The Helix Gusto is priced at Rs 1,495, while the Helix Gusto HRM edition sets you back by Rs 2,295.
