Twitter, Roblox, Trello, Twitch suffer outages; users report GTA V downtime

Twitter faced an outage on Friday that stopped some users from accessing the microblogging network. The outage was verified by the Downdetector platform. However, the social media giant has acknowledged the problem and announced a fix soon after it was reported by some affected users. Besides Twitter, users also faced difficulties accessing Counter-Strike, Trello, Twitch, and Roblox due to different outages. There are reports about the Grand Theft Auto V outage, which is still live in some parts of the world.

Twitter’s official support has confirmed the outage and said that it was due to a technical bug. “Twitter may not have been working as expected for some of you over the past few hours. We’ve fixed a technical bug that was affecting how Tweets get routed to our backend systems –– things should be back to normal now. Sorry for the interruption,” said the support team.

According to Downdetector real-time data, Twitter was outage started at 6:28am IST and lasted until around 8am IST. Some users in India and the US had noticed issues with the platform.

On the other hand, the exact reasons for the outages of Roblox, Trello, Reddit, Twitch, Counter-Strike but a few users have reported a downtime. Similarly, GTA V has also been causing issues to some users since Friday morning, according to the outage reports on Downdetector. The GTA V outage is also affecting some users in India and around the globe. However, there are reports of GTA V impacting users on Thursday evening and are still going on in some regions.

GTA publisher Rockstart Games hasn’t provided an update about the outage reported by users but we can expect it to be sorted soon.
