Popular ride-sharing platform Uber has announced a new promotional offer in partnership with Amazon Pay as a part of the upcoming Prime Day sale. Under this offer, Prime customers can get a 20 percent discount of up to Rs 60 for three trips per month. Additionally, customers also get complimentary ride upgrades as well. For those unaware, The Amazon Prime Day sale is scheduled to take place on July 23rd and July 24th in India and will bring discounts, deals and offers on various product categories.
As said, Amazon Prime customers can get complimentary ride upgrades to Uber Premier at the price of UberGo. Prime members can get a 20 percent discount up to Rs 60 on three rides per month (Rs 20 per ride). This is valid on Uber Auto, Moto, Rentals and Intercity also.
Uber and Amazon Pay promotion
Uber has teamed up with Amazon to offer Prime customers discounts on their daily rides. Users can avail free upgrades to Uber Premier and get a 20 percent discount of up to Rs 60 on three rides by linking their Amazon Pay wallet to the Uber app. To take advantage of the promotional offer, they have to select Amazon Pay as the preferred payment method when booking a ride and is not applicable to other payment options like credit or debit cards.
As said, the promotional offer is not valid for non-Prime members. The offer is live now and is valid until December 31st 2022. These discounts will be automatically applied for the first three rides of any UberAuto, Moto, Rentals or Intercity trips via the Uber app monthly. Well, this is one of the benefits of having an Amazon Prime membership.
