The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are said to get rid of the notch and might finally adopt “punch-hole” cameras for selfies and Face ID authentication creating an immersive display experience for the users. As for the rear main camera, both the Pro variants may use a 48MP sensor for the first time up from 12MP which Apple has been using for the past couple of years, and accordingly, a larger camera bump could be in tow. Under the hood, both the Pro models are expected to ship with the next generation of Apple’s mobile silicon i.e. A16 which will bring tons of performance and connectivity improvements.

On the other hand, the non-Pro iPhone models may reuse last year’s A15 Bionic and gain high refresh rate support. Lastly, an always-on display could soon be a thing on iPhone starting with iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max for the time being. What’s more, Apple will reportedly ditch the ‘mini’ model and instead introduce a 6.7-inch ‘Max’ variant into the iPhone lineup.

With the Watch Series 7 already getting a refreshed design, don’t expect the Series 8 to have significant design alterations. Powering up the Watch Series 8 could be Apple’s new S8 chip which is said to bring marginal performance improvements over its predecessor. As for the size, the new Apple Watch could come in 41mm, 45mm and an even larger sized variant against the 2 sizes. A new Apple Watch SE with an S8 chip could also debut along with the Series 8 which would be a more affordable version with stripped-down features.

This would mean the display could produce more vibrant colours with superior brightness levels as compared to the previous generation of iPads. Furthermore, the iPad Pro 2022 is expected to gain MagSafe charging with reverse wireless charging as this particular iPad might have a glass rear panel instead of metal. The performance department could be taken care of by the recently announced M2 chip, which brings in some serious power and battery efficiency over the existing M1 chip. Lastly, there are rumours that an upgraded version of the Apple Pencil may also make the cut along with the iPad Pro.

Furthermore, we can speculate that the iPad 10th generation could pack in the A14 Bionic since the previous model had the A13 bringing in much-improved speeds and connectivity capabilities.

Coming to the Macs, both the Mac mini and Mac Pro are said to be in the works. Both could be powered by the M2 chip while the Mac Pro could also come with an Intel variant. As for the design, the Mac mini is said to have a smaller footprint than the 2020 Mac mini and might feature a sturdy plexiglass top panel with an aluminium frame and a magnetic charging connector. As for the Mac Pro’s design, just like the Mac mini, it could also see some design changes by stripping down on the size for a slim profile. Both of these devices are expected to have a decent amount of Thunderbolt ports, USB-A ports along with HDMI and Ethernet ports.

Lastly, a larger-sized iMac and stick-sized Apple TV 2022 could also make a debut this year. As per rumours, this iMac could come with a display size ranging between 27 to 32 inches with mini-LED technology and may feature slim bezels with support for ProMotion and XDR.
