Riot Games has rolled out a new update for Valorant, which kicks off the Lunar New Year event. The event trailer shows off new skins for weapons, Tigris bundle, and more. Patch 4.02 also comes with several bug fixes and performance upgrades. The Lunar New Year event has an exclusive pass that features various free cosmetics including player card, gun buddy, spray, Radianite points, and titles. The event is now live in Valorant and it will run until February 16, 2022.

Valorant’s Lunar New Year event brings a free limited-time Lunar Celebration event pass that features a Dumpling gun buddy, Tiger spray, titles, a player card that shows Sage, Jett, and Neon sharing a meal, and Radianite points. Players can easily acquire all of these items by completing challenges from the battle pass.

Tigris bundle

The brand-new Valorant update brings a new bundle of cosmetics called Tigris. The bundle features skins for weapons like Spectre, Phantom, Shorty, Operator, and melee. The skin brings a black and red colour scheme for these weapons. Along with these, Valorant patch 4.02 brings AFK detection buff and a bug fix for Killjoy’s Alarmbot and Turret, which were unusable after being resurrected by Sage.

Riot Games has recently added multi-factor authentication support for its games such as Valorant, League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra, and more. With multi-factor authentication, players will be able protect skins and other in-game collectibles better. The security feature is available for players who log in using Riot Games website, Riot Mobile, and Riot PC app.
