The Rs 296 plan comes with 30 days of validity and 25GB of daily, with no cap on daily usage. That said, there are no additional benefits like weekend data rollover, unlimited night data, and OTT access. This plan is best suited for those looking for a month-long recharge pack with calling benefits. The Rs 296 plan bridges the gap between Vi’s Rs 195 and Rs 319 plans, which also offer a validity of 30 days.

The Vi Rs 296 plan offers 25GB of data, unlimited calls to any network, 100 SMS every day, and access to Vi Music and TV app. Since the plan is not a part of the hero unlimited section, there are no benefits like binge all night, no OTT app benefits, additional data, and weekend data rollover facilities.
In comparison, Airtel and Jio also offer 25GB of data, unlimited calling to any network, 100 SMS per day and 30 days of validity with their Rs 296 plans. Jio offers access to in-house apps like JioCinema, JioSecurity, and JioTV. While the plan benefits are more or less the same, the additional benefits make these plans lucrative to customers.
