Vi (Vodafone Idea) has revised its two prepaid plans, namely Rs 409 and Rs 475 recharges, in a bid to attract more users. The plans now come with up to 112GB of data. The telco has added 1GB more internet data per day to each of these plans. The other benefits, including voice calls, SMS, and OTT subscription, as well as the validity of the recharge packs, remain the same as before. Rs 409 Vi plan: data and benefits
The Rs 409 now offers a total of 98GB of data (capped at 3.5GB/ day) instead of 84 days, with a total of 28 days validity. Additionally, you get unlimited outgoing calls to any network in India. The plan also comes with a 100 SMS daily quota. After the daily SMS allowance is over, you will incur Re 1 for local SMSes and Re 1.5 for STD SMSes. Apart from this, the Rs 409 plan also comes bundled with the ‘Binge All Night’ benefit’, which lets you surf access the internet from 12 AM midnight to 6 AM in the morning without any data deductions from the daily allowed data quota. This means you will incur any charges for any amount of data used by you at nighttime.

Additionally, Vi is also allowing you to backup 2GB of your important data per month at no extra cost, with the ‘Data Delights’ benefit.
Rs 475 Vi plan: data and benefits
The Rs 475 plan from Vi offers 4GB of daily high-speed 4G internet and comes with 28 days of validity. The telco gives you a 100 SMS/day of SMS quota, after which, for local SMSes, you get charged Re 1 and Re 1.5 for STD SMSes. Apart from the increased daily data allowance, most benefits remain the same as the previous Rs 409 plan.
