Swiggy guy delivers order using Dunzo

In a tweet from one @omkar__joshi, the screenshot narrated an instance where the customer ordered a cup of coffee from Cafe Coffee Day using the food delivery platform Swiggy. A delivery guy was assigned to pick up the order and deliver it to the customer. However, in an interesting turn of events, the delivery guy used Dunzo to execute the task.

Later on, the Swiggy delivery guy even called up the customer stating, “bheiya maine Dunzo kar diya hai, please 5 start rating de dena” (which translates to: sir, I have Dunzo-ed your order, please push a 5-star rating for the delivery).

Dunzo replied to this viral tweet, “In the @peakbengaluru metaverse of madness, Bichoo gang and Eagle gang work together. Hum bhi hain Joshi mein, delivery karein hosh mein, yun na aankhein dikha…Saailaaroo, saailaare! What say @swiggy_in“. This reply also caught many users off guard as the company had humorously quoted the lyrics of a song and a reference from Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s 2000 movie Josh.

Swiggy too replied to the original Twitter post and wrote, “this is genius! @DunzoIt, can you deliver this tweet to our followers?”. However, Swiggy hasn’t followed up with Dunzo’s witty response yet.

Ronnie Screwvala, an Indian entrepreneur and cofounder at upGrad, also took a plunge and appreciated the delivery guy’s delegation skills. Interestingly, an account that goes by Madhur Chadha, said that the person assigned for the Swiggy delivery was the same person who delivered the order via Dunzo. The user speculated he got his share of commission from Swiggy and also collected incentive points on Dunzo.
