Vivo Apex 2020 concept phone to be announced at MWC 2020: report

“Vivo Apex 2020 will be shown off at the Mobile World Conference (MWC) between February 23rd-24th”

Vivo Apex 2020 smartphone will be unveiled at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC 2020) in Barcelona, Spain, leaked press invite suggests. The invite reveals that the vendor is promoting the concept phone with the slogan “Empower the Next.” As per the report, Vivo will show off the Apex 2020 at the MWC 2020 between February 23rd and 24th. It’ll be the third-gen concept phone from the brand that is likely next-gen innovative features. The Vivo Apex 2018, to recall, was showcased as a near bezel-less phone with the first in-display fingerprint scanner, while the 2019 Apex had a fingerprint scanner that worked on a larger area within the display along with touch-sensitive buttons instead of physical hardware buttons on the sides.

While the Vivo Apex 2020 specifications are unknown at the moment, we can expect it to debut with some hugely impressive tech. Since it’ll be a concept phone, the Vivo Apex 2020 will likely not be available commercially. For that, you’ll have to wait for the Vivo NEX smartphone, which usually gets launched in the second half of the year. Vivo, as seen in the past, is known to the handset in the lineup with some or maybe even all of the new features and technologies.

It’s possible that the upcoming Apex 2020 will highlight a unique camera technology this time around. Cameras have been getting a lot of attention over the past couple of years with OEMs launching phones with up to five rear cameras or up to 108MP high resolution sensors. 91mobiles will be there at MWC 2020 to bring you all the updates regarding the upcoming Vivo Apex 2020 smartphone and other launches, so stay tuned for more.
