“Vivo phone with model V1936L is expected to be the new IQOO Neo and it will come with a 6.4-inch display, triple rear cameras and run on Android 9.0 Pie.”
A Vivo iQOO smartphone with model number V1936AL has been spotted on Android Enterprise website, and this is the same model that was recently showed up on TENAA as well. While the listing claims the handset will have a triple vertically-aligned rear camera, a 4,420mAh battery and measure 159.53 × 75.23 × 8.13mm, the Android Enterprise listing mentions some additional specifications of the Vivo iQOO V1936AL. These specifications include a 6.4-inch display, Android 9.0 Pie with a version of Funtouch OS skin, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
The Vivo V1936AL model number matches with that of the Vivo iQOO Neo 855 (V1936A) and with a similar design language, suggesting the two phones are one and the same. The front has a waterdrop notch to accommodate the selfie snapper and a sizeable chin beneath the screen. The handset was recently spotted at China’s 3C database with 22.5W fast charging support, which is again same as Vivo iQOO Neo. It’s possible it could be an upgraded iQOO Neo 855 with the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC.
