Vivo NEX 3 flagship is scheduled to launch in China on September 16th. The flagship’s complete design, including specifications, were revealed through TENAA listing. Now, while we wait for the launch, Vivo NEX 3 5G with model number V1924A appeared on Geekbench benchmarking platform, revealing its key specifications. The listing suggests the handset would run on Android 9.0 Pie, pack 8GB of RAM and is powered by the ‘msmnile’ SoC, which could be referring to the Snapdragon 855 SoC or the upgraded Snapdragon 855 Plus. The TENAA listing suggests the Vivo NEX 3 would sport a 6.89-inch AMOLED full HD+ display with 1,080 x 2,256 pixels resolution and a notch-less screen. The handset comes with extremely curved edges and a screen-to-body ratio of 99.6 percent. It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The handset will be powered by a 2.96GHz octa-core Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage variants. It runs on Android 9 Pie.
In terms of optics, the Vivo NEX 3 features a triple rear camera setup in a circular module consisting of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel secondary snapper and a 13-megapixel unit. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel unit for selfies and video chats. A 4,500mAh battery with either 44W or 120W fast charging support fuels the phone. The Vivo NEX 3 said to lack physical buttons; instead, it would rock touch-sensitive power and volume buttons on its right edge.
