The Vivo NEX 3S launch date has been officially announced by the company. The handset will succeed the NEX 3 that was launched in September 2019. The Vivo NEX 3S launch is scheduled for March 10th at 2:30pm local time in China. While little has been officially revealed about the smartphone, it is expected to retain the same 6.89-inch waterfall AMOLED display with 90-degree curvature on the left and right sides and 99.6 percent screen-to-body ratio as its predecessor. And the teaser image below shows the Vivo NEX 3S will come in orange colour option.

As for the rest of the specifications, the Vivo NEX 3S is tipped to come with Snapdragon 865 SoC, Adreno 650 GPU and 5G connectivity as well. It is said to have 55W fast-charging support and a slightly smaller 4,250mAh battery. The TENAA listing of V1950A, which is believed to be the NEX 3S, claims the phone would measure 167.44 × 76.14 × 9.4 mm and weighs 219.5 grams.
The Vivo NEX 3S is expected to come in two models: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB storage. There could be high-end 12GB + 512GB UFS 3.0 storage. As for the optics, the phone is said to pack triple rear cameras consisting of a 64MP primary Samsung GW1 sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120-degree field of view and a 13MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom. On the front, it is tipped to rock a 16MP unit for selfies and video chats. Connectivity features could include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port.
The Vivo NEX 3S is likely to boot Android 10 OS with FunTouch 10 custom skin, have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and AK4377A Hi-Fi DAC. The display is said to have HDR10+ support and 100 percent P3 wide colour gamut. As we inch closer to the launch, we should learn more information about the Vivo NEX 3S flagship smartphone.
