Vivo S1 smartphone is all set to be launched in the Indian market, as we exclusively reported earlier. We didn’t have the exact launch date of the handset earlier, but now a Vivo executive, who wishes to remain anonymous, has revealed these details to us. In addition, the executive has also told us the Vivo S1 price in India and its RAM and storage variants. The phone was originally launched in Indonesia yesterday as a mid-range offering. Notably, the Vivo S1 is the world’s first smartphone to come with MediaTek’s Helio P65 processor. The handset is also among the most affordable devices with triple rear cameras and in-display fingerprint sensor.

Vivo S1 price in India
According to our source, the Vivo S1 will be initially available in the country in two RAM and storage configurations – 6GB RAM + 64GB and 6GB RAM + 128GB. The former model will be priced at Rs 17,990 in the country. While we don’t have the exact pricing of the latter variant, we do know that it will be priced around Rs 20,000. Furthermore, we’ve learned that the smartphone will be available to pre-order in early August and will go on sale starting August 15th. As you can see in the Indian teaser image above, the phone will be available in two colour models – Sky Blue and Dark Blue with a pattern.
Vivo S1 specifications
To recall, the Vivo S1 mid-ranger comes with a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution. The MediaTek Helio P65 SoC onboard is aided by Mali-G52 GPU. The camera features include 16MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear snappers and a 32MP selfie shooter. Software-wise, the handset boots Android Pie-based Funtouch OS. A massive 4,500mAh battery completes the list of the specifications.
