Vivo seems to have silently launched a new S-series smartphone, called Vivo S1 Prime, in Myanmar. The handset’s listing has gone live on the company’s official website in the country and its specifications suggest that it is a rebranded version of the Vivo S1 Pro (review) that was launched in India earlier this year. The Vivo S1 Prime design includes a waterdrop notch display up front and quad rear cameras in a diamond-shaped module. Vivo S1 Prime price and availability

The Vivo S1 Prime price is set at 3,89,800 Myanmar Kyat that roughly translates to Rs 21,000 in the Indian currency for the sole 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option. The handset comes in Jade Black and Nebula Blue colour options. There is no word on Vivo S1 Prime’s availability yet.

Talking about the specifications of Vivo S1 Prime, the handset sports a 6.38-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,340) Super AMOLED display with U-shaped waterdrop notch atop, 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, in-display fingerprint scanner. The smartphone is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset coupled with Adreno 610 GPU, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage that is further expandable via microSD card. The Vivo S1 Prime runs on a date Android 9.0 Pie with FunTouch OS 9.2 skin on top.

For photography, the Vivo smartphone sports quad camera setup at the back, which comprises 48MP primary sensor paired with ultra-wide, macro, and depth sensors. The resolutions of these sensors are not known at the moment, but they’re likely to be 8MP, 2MP, and 2MP respectively.
