Vivo S1 Pro is now officially confirmed to launch in India on January 4th. The company has revealed the same through its official Twitter handle’s banner picture. The image confirms the diamond-shaped quad-camera setup at the back. Vivo S1 Pro India variant will launch as a mid-range offering with the Snapdragon 665 chipset. The Vivo S1 Pro price in India for the 8GB + 128GB variant will be Rs 19,990, which is a bit steep considering the chipset. The handset is also listed on the Amazon India website with the ‘Notify Me’ tag and key specifications. The Vivo S1 Pro would rock a 48MP primary sensor and a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies. The variant that is launching in India will be the one that Vivo introduced in the Philippines. Either way, the Vivo S1 Pro will be sold online and offline markets simultaneously, like all future Vivo phones.

It is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC coupled with Adreno 610 GPU, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage that is further expandable via microSD card. Software-wise, the Vivo S1 Pro boots Android 9.0 Pie with the company’s FunTouch OS 9.2 skin on top.
In terms of optics, the Vivo S1 Pro features a quad-camera setup at the back consisting of a Samsung’s 48MP GM1 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth lens, and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. A 4,500mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support fuels the handset. It measures 159.25 x 75.19 x 8.68 mm and weighs 186.7 grams.
