“Vivo S1 Pro specifications include Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 675 SoC, Android 9.0 Pie, and an in-display fingerprint sensor”
Vivo S1 Pro smartphone, which was launched in China back in May 2019, is finally heading to India. 91mobiles has exclusively learned from retail sources that the Vivo S1 Pro would be launching in the country in mid-January. While the exact launch date isn’t revealed at the moment, it shouldn’t be long before Vivo makes it official. To recall, the Vivo S1 Pro comes as a superior version of the Vivo S1 that was unveiled back in August. It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and a triple rear camera setup at the back. However, unlike the standard variant, the Vivo S1 Pro rocks a pop-up mechanism to accommodate the selfie camera.
Vivo S1 Pro specifications
The Vivo S1 Pro flaunts a 6.39-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 2,340 × 1,080 pixels resolution and ultra-slim bezels. It is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC coupled with Adreno 612 GPU, up to 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The Vivo S1 Pro boots 9.0 Pie with the company’s FunTouch OS 9.2 skin on top. There’s a possibility that Vivo might also introduce the new FunTouch OS 10 Indian version on the same stage.
In terms of optics, the Vivo S1 Pro features a quad-camera setup at the back consisting of Samsung’s 48MP (f/1.78) primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5MP depth lens. There is a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. A 3,700mAh battery with 22.5W fast-charging support fuels the handset. The Vivo S1 Pro has an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. Connectivity features include dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS, and USB Type-C port.
