“The Vivo S1 Pro launch in India is expected around mid-January, with the smartphone sporting a waterdrop notch and diamond-shaped rear camera setup”
Vivo S1 Pro, which is heading to India with tweaked specs next month, will be a mid-range offering. The Vivo S1 Pro price in India will be Rs 19,990 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, according to 91mobiles’ retail sources. This price is in line with our previous report, in which we said the phone will cost around Rs 20,000. A variant with 6GB RAM may also launch in India, though we do not have information about its price yet.
Vivo S1 Pro specifications
The Vivo S1 Pro smartphone heading to the Indian market has already been launched in The Philippines. It has a waterdrop notch and diamond-shape quad cameras instead of pop-up selfie camera design and triple camera setup at the back that the handset’s China variant features. The Vivo S1 Pro sports a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with Full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) resolution. The back of the phone would flaunt 48-megapixel quad cameras arranged in a diamond shape. The setup would also include an 8-megapixel secondary sensor and a couple of 2-megapixel units. For security, the phone could feature an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood, the Vivo S1 Pro is expected to be equipped with Snapdragon 665 SoC. This will be paired with, as mentioned above, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. That’s all the information we can divulge at the moment. Other key details of the smartphone include a 32-megapixel f/2.0 selfie camera, 4,500mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support, dual-SIM support, and USB Type-C port.
