The Vivo S12 series debuted in China back in December 2021. It now looks like the company is working on successors, skipping the Vivo S13 and S14 series and going straight with the S15 series. It will include the Vivo S15 and S15 Pro, with rumours suggesting there’s also a third model, the Vivo S15E. The Vivo S-series is quite popular in the company’s home soil China in the mid-range and premium mid-range segment.

Now, tipster Digital Chat Station has shared key specifications of the Vivo S15 Pro. The Vivo S15 series launch date hasn’t been revealed at the moment but as the leaks have started coming out, we can expect an announcement shortly. However, there is no news on whether the phones will make their way to India.

Vivo S15 Pro specifications (leaked)

The Vivo S15 Pro is said to come with an OLED panel that will have support for a high refresh rate. It may have curved screen edges, similar to the Vivo S12 Pro. The phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset and have support for 80W fast charging support.

In the camera department, the Vivo S15 Pro will have a 50MP primary selfie camera, which could mean there will be dual snappers on the front. It will come with features like NFC, an IR Blaster and a linear motor.

On the other hand, the Vanilla S15 is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. We can speculate it may come with a flat display and slightly stripped down specifications. That’s pretty much it about the Vivo S15 series leak.

Vivo is gearing up to launch the Vivo X Fold, X Note and Vivo Pad tablet products at a special event in China later today. These will be the brand’s first tablet and foldable products. The company will break covers off the VX80 series probably later this month. There are chances the Vivo S15 series may go official next month in China.

Vivo S12 Pro specifications

In comparison, the Vivo S12 Pro flaunts a 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080×2,376 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and HDR10+ support. The handset will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone will boot Android 11 based OriginOS custom skin out of the box.

Vivo S12 Pro features a triple rear camera setup, with a 108MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 119-degree field of view, and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 105-degree field of view.

A 4,300mAh battery with 44W fast charging support fuels the phone. The Vivo S12 Pro measures 159.46×73.27×7.36mm and weighs 171 grams.
