Vivo S16 series has been officially launched in China.
The lineup comes with an AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, Android 13 OS, a 4600mAh battery with 66W fast charging support, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Vivo S16 series price starts at RMB 2099 (approx Rs 24,900).

Vivo S16, Vivo S16 Pro, and Vivo S16e phones have been launched in China, as promised. The phones come with a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, triple cameras arranged in a rectangular module on the back, and USB Type-C audio since there is no 3.5mm audio jack. The green colour option of the Vivo S16 Pro has a photochromic technology that changes from light green to dark green and with the smoked sapphire pattern on the purple glass. There is a ring LED which the company calls Aura light.

Vivo S16, S16 Pro, and S16e price

Vivo S16 price: The Vivo S16 8GB+128GB model costs RMB 2499 (approx Rs 29,700) approx.), RMB 2699 (around Rs 32,000) for the 8GB + 256GB, RMB 2999 (approx Rs 35,600) for the 12GB + 256GB version, and RMB 3,299 (around Rs 39,200) for the 12GB + 512GB model.

Vivo S16 Pro: The Vivo S16 Pro costs RMB 3,299 (around Rs 39,200) for the 12GB + 256GB model and RMB 3,599 (approx Rs 42,700) for the 12GB + 512GB version.

Vivo S16e: The Vivo S16e costs RMB 2099 (approx Rs 24,900) for the 8GB + 128GB model, RMB 2299 (around Rs 27,300) for the 8GB + 256GB model, and RMB 2499 (approx Rs 29,700) for the 12GB + 256GB version.

The Vivo S16 comes in Black, Green, and Gradient colours, and the Vivo S16 Pro will be available in Black and Green. Lastly, the Vivo S16e comes in Black, Green and Purple colours.

Vivo S16 sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 2400×1080 pixel resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio screen, HDR10+, and up to 120Hz refresh rate. While the Vivo S16 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 4nm processor paired with Mali-G610 MC6 GPU, up to 12GB RAM and512GB UFS 3.1 storage, the vanilla Vivo S16 ships with the Snapdragon 870 7nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 650 GPU, up to 12GB RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The Vivo S16 and S16 Pro boot Android 13-based OriginOS custom skin out of the box. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, a 4,600mAh battery with 66W fast charging support, stereo speakers, Hi-Res audio, and a USB Type-C port. Connectivity features include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC.

Moving to optics, the Vivo S16 has a 64MP primary camera with f/1.89 aperture, OIS, LED flash, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. There is a 50MP front camera with a dual soft LED flash.

The Vivo S16 Pro with a 50MP Sony IMX766V primary sensor with f/1.88 aperture, OIS, and LED flash, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. There is a 50MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.

Vivo S16e specifications

The Vivo S16e sports a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+, and 2400×1080 pixel resolution. The phone is powered by the Exynos 1080 5nm processor with Mali-G78 MP10 GPU, 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. Android 13-based OriginOS custom skin takes care of the software side of things.
