Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is all set to unveil the Vivo S17 series in China on May 31st. The company has already unveiled the Vivo S17e, which indicates that the company will unveil the Vivo S17, and Vivo S17 Pro on the launch day.
A new report from TechGoing states that China’s TENAA authority has given the green light to three new Vivo phones. The Vivo S17 and S17 Pro are the V2283A and V2284A smartphones, while the V2282A is most likely the Vivo S17t. Meaning, there might be a third smartphone along with the mentioned ones at the launch. As per the report, these upcoming smartphones will also feature an under-display fingerprint reader, an IR blaster and will have OriginOS 3.1-based Android operating system. Meanwhile, it should also be noted that the company has not yet revealed any of these details officially and only the Vivo S17 Pro’s image has appeared on TENAA.
On the other hand, the recently launched Vivo S17e is up for sale in the country. It is priced at Rs CNY 2,099 (approx Rs 24,658) for the 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, the variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage at CNY 2,299 (approx Rs 27,008), and the model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at CNY 2,499 (approx Rs 29,350).
