“The upcoming Vivo S6 5G could be powered by the latest Snapdragon 765G SoC or the MediaTek Dimensity 1000 platform”
Vivo S6 5G phone is gearing up to launch officially in China in the next few weeks if not days. It will succeed the Vivo S5 that was launched in November 2019. The company has released a teaser video which reveals the Vivo S6 name, while also confirming it will support dual-mode SA and NSA 5G network. The Vivo S6 is not expected to be a high-end flagship, which means the smartphone could be powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC or the MediaTek Dimensity 1000 mid-range 5G SoCs. However, it shouldn’t be long before Vivo releases yet another teaser image/video revealing more details about the handset.
Furthermore, it’s possible the Vivo S6 could retain the quad-camera setup at the back, AMOLED display with an in-screen fingerprint sensor for security, and a punch-hole design to house the front-facing camera. While nothing can be confirmed at the moment, the Vivo S6 5G should be a significant update to last year’s Vivo S5.
